Lesson Rates
CFI / CFII - $75 / hr
TCI - $85/hr
CSIP - $95/hr
Owner Instruction - $95 / hr
Chief Pilot / Director of Operations - $95 / hr
Our Policies:
Plane rate / hr + Instructor rate / hr = TOTAL RATE BILLED
One hour minimum of flight time.
Each lesson will have a .5 of instructor time added for a pre and post flight briefing.
Extended lessons are billed at an hourly rate. Instruction in excess of 12 hours or overnight will be billed at full pilot day rate.
All instructor incidentals (lodging, meals, transportation) will also be invoiced.
Accelerated Written Test 2 Day Bootcamp
Texas Skies Flight School offers 2-day accelerated bootcamp courses, designed to cover all the necessary material and prepare students for their written test. For students that learn best in a more academic setting, this is a perfect choice. Completion of the course includes access to online practice tests and the student's endorsement to take their written test. There are a limited number of spots in each course. Aircraft Management
Texas Skies Flight School provides comprehensive aircraft management services. Full concierge service, including fueling, cleaning and detailing, hangaring, and maintenance management, is available. Those interested may also lease-back their aircraft for profit generation through flight school operations. Interested parties should contact the Chief Pilot or Director of Operations.
AVERAGE COST OF FLIGHT TRAINING
Cost of training varies depending on the aircraft of your choice. prices are based on averages, price may vary per individual.
A Private Pilot certificate requires a minimum of 40 hours of flight time. But most accomplish this in about 55-60 hours in a Cessna and about 80 hours in the Cirrus.
$40,000 for a Private Pilot Certificate in the Cirrus.
$15000 for a Private Pilot Certificate in the Cessna.
