Renters Insurance

Texas Skies Flight School requires all student pilots and aircraft renters to carry renters insurance at all times.

Policies may be obtained on a daily, monthly, or annual basis, depending on your training frequency and mission.

At a minimum, all policies must include:

• $30,000 Non-Owned Aircraft Physical Damage Liability Coverage

• $500,000 Bodily Injury and Property Damage Coverage (excluding Loss of Use)

To assist our students, TSFS has partnered with Avemco Insurance Company and Starr Insurance Company, both well-established aviation insurance providers offering competitive coverage options.

Texas Skies Operations Manual

At Texas Skies Flight School, safety isn’t just a priority - it’s the foundation of everything we do. Our Texas Skies Operations Manual (TSOM) is the guiding document that defines how we operate, train, and uphold the highest professional standards.

The TSOM outlines key policies and procedures including currency requirements, aircraft operating standards, safety protocols, and etc. It creates clarity, consistency, and accountability ensuring every flight is conducted with professionalism, and a strong commitment to safety.
