Private Pilot
Earning a Private Pilot Certificate is an exciting first step into aviation. Students may begin training at any age, solo at 16, and qualify for the check-ride at 17. Requirements include English proficiency, obtaining at a minimum a Third-Class FAA Medical Certificate from an Aviation Medical Examiner (AME), passing the FAA Knowledge Test, and completing the required flight and ground training. Training consists of dual instruction and supervised solo experience covering cross-country, night, and instrument fundamentals, all designed to prepare students for safe and confident flying. Instrument Rating

FAA Written Exam Preparation
Two-Day Accelerated Boot-camp
Texas Skies Flight School offers accelerated, two-day boot-camps designed to prepare students for their FAA written examinations. These focused, classroom-based courses provide a structured, crash course style review of all required knowledge areas, ensuring students gain the confidence and understanding needed to successfully pass their exams.
We with Aviation Seminars to deliver a proven, comprehensive curriculum that simplifies complex topics and streamlines test preparation.
Both the Private Pilot and Instrument Rating boot-camps are designed specifically to prepare students for their FAA written tests. Upon completion, students receive access to online practice exams and an official instructor endorsement to sit for the FAA knowledge test.
